The Need For A World Government - Part A

Amazon.in: Buy World Government Now it is Necessary in Hindi Book ...

“World government, global government or cosmocracy is the concept of a common political authority for all of humanity, giving way to a global government and a single state or polity with jurisdiction over the entire world.”
- Wikipedia definition of world government.

I often look at the various leaders of countries across the world - Narendra Modi, Vladmir Putin, Xi Jinping etc. and the sense of deep patriotism and loyalty they have for their respective ‘countries’. They will do anything to improve the lives of the citizens of their country even if it means sacrificing their own life. Now imagine how much progress humans as a species will make if this loyalty to their ‘country’ changes into loyalty to their ‘planet’. That is the idea and purpose behind the formation of a World Government.

The concept is not new or modern in any way; the idea has been prevalent since the Mesopotamian Civilization 6000 years ago. Since then, every civilization has dreamt of ruling over the world. Examples include the Egyptians, Romans, Alexander the Great, Mughal Emperors, the British etc. Even today if you go to worldgovernment.com you will find the ever-growing number of people who desire to have one government for the entire planet so that humans as a species will finally be united.
One step has already been taken in this direction in the form of the United Nations. The success of the UN shows that the establishment of a World Government is indeed very much possible and that people across the world can coordinate and cooperate to ensure that humanity progresses at a blinding rate and reach ever increasing heights. On top of it all, I boldly state that all of you, at some point or other, have contemplated and wished for a world government.

The best logical explanation which I can provide for this proposal is already well established in the minds of nearly all people as I will prove now. Ever watched sci-fi movies? Or read books about aliens? I am sure you have. Then pray, tell me, have you ever, anywhere read about the ‘aliens’ on their planet having different countries, different religions? No. If we cannot imagine aliens to be divided by different nationalities then why are we? For that matter, even on Earth we are the only species who are divided by imaginary and meaningless boundaries and then are prepared to die or kill fellow Homo sapiens for them. All I ask is for a rational and logical explanation for doing so.

So basically, I sum up by defining the concept of a World Government –
‘A World Government is an up-scaled model of a secular democratic nation, in which all the humans are its citizens and the boundaries of which are non-existent as the entire planet is within its area. The Government will be headed by a President elected by the citizens of the ‘World’. There shall exist a World Parliament composed of the elected representatives of various constituencies. There shall also be a common Constitution of the entire world along with a fair judicial system.’

This is all for part A of this topic. In the coming days, I will post part B in which I will discuss the various advantages and disadvantages of the formation of a World Government. Until then, I kindly welcome any views to the contrary on the topic as always…

P.S. – My previous blogs have received a good response, I have got thousands of views for the posts but sadly the number does not reflect in the comments. Hence I beg of you, even if it is a simple ‘good’ or ‘bad’, please comment. If not comment, you can email me at krishna.kabra7705@gmail.com. I am also present on Instagram. As I had stated in my previous post, I write considering the blog to be my best friend, so it does not help if my best friend goes mute. Hence, I ask again, please comment and if you like my posts, follow.

Thus, hoping for a better response, I take your leave…
